Introducing a fun activity for you, your little ones and your friends, a Hot Chocolate Crawl! Stop by these hot spots across Brooklyn and Manhattan this weekend to get your coco fix with the little ones and your best friends.

Jacques Torres (SOHO, Hudson and King, or DUMBO)

Known as Mr. Chocolate, Jacques Torres is the authority on all things related to chocolate!  Visit the original shop in Dumbo to taste a piping hot cup of this thick european style hot chocolate. Go for double chocolate by ordering his world famous chocolate chip cookie (insider tip, get it heated with whipped cream!)

City Bakery (Flatiron, 18th and 5th)

The City Bakery is so serious about hot chocolate, they dedicated the month of February to their annual hot chocolate festival each year.  The best way to enjoy their classic hot chocolate is with a homemade marshmallow.

LA Burdick (Flatiron, 20th and 5th)

Sip on a single origin hot chocolate which is made european style (basically liquid chocolate, yum).  While in their newly relocated shop, pick up some adorable chocolates as gifts, the cutest ones are little mice and penguins!

The Chocolate Room (Cobble Hill, Court &  Butler)

From Dark hot cocoa, to spiced hot cocoa for the parents, there is lots to love at this cozy brooklyn cafe.  Kids will love the classic hot cocoa topped with a large housemade marshmallow and might want a slice of the award winning chocolate layer cake to go with it!

Max Brenner (Union Square, Broadway &13th street)

End your day of chocolate consumption with a visit to this classic chocolate focused restaurant. Serving 8 varieties of hot chocolate all served in a white “hug mug” designed to fit perfectly in both hands.

Bittersweet (Fort Greene)

Stop by this darling coffee shop for hot chocolate (even made with almond milk if you like).  You just might need a coffee after this day, so enjoy a handcrafted coffee if you need a pick-me-up to keep up with your toddler.  Right near Fort Greene Park, the perfect place for the kids to run off this ultimate sugar rush!
